The Vascular Access Course is designed for anyone involved in vascular access. This course will teach you how to use ultrasound to improve your success rates and improve patient care when placing lines, both central and peripheral. We cover the basics of ultrasound and line placement with ultrasound and then spend a great deal of time in lab placing lines in multiple different types of phantoms. Models are also used to practice identifying the anatomy and landmarks.
The course will be located at The Westin Michigan Avenue. The Westin Michigan Avenue, Boasting Chicago’s best address in the heart of downtown, offers a 4 Star, 4 Diamond hotel experience on the Magnificent Mile just across the street from Bloomingdale’s, the upscale shops of Water Tower Place and steps from numerous restaurants and entertainment. You can appreciate the inspired cuisine of The Grill on The Alley, which is rated among the Top 20 steakhouses in Chicago by Chicago Magazine, as well as enjoy Starbuck’s Café a la carte located in the hotel lobby.
The Westin Michigan Avenue Chicago's distinguished accommodations offer the intimacy of home.
